I’d like to welcome you to “On the Banks of the Jordan,” a place where I share what God has shared with me. You’ll find a collection of commentaries, devotionals, and other posts that I make as a result of reading, studying, and/or listening the bible, sermons, songs, or just regular conversations others. I’m not a scholar, theologian, or anything of that nature by any stretch of the imagination, but I do believe that I have something of value to share with you and anyone else that is looking for more. I ask that you walk with me on this journey and share this site with your friends and family or anyone else that you’d like to. Please leave comments at the end of posts and feel free to share your own persepectives/opinions/revelations. As you will notice I am not an English major or writer, so you may cringe at some of the grammatical errors and countless other things you may find while reading (charge it to my head, not my heart). When you see “/” just know that I couldn’t decide on what word/term best fit so feel free to use either or replace with your own. I’ll be dropping content periodically, and if there is a topic, passage, book or anything else that you’d like to see me address or provide my perspective on then feel free to share.
